Dr. Ibrahim Al Jamali is the Regional Director – Northern Region at the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment. He previously served as Director of the Fisheries Department and the Marine Environment Research Centre, where he led environmental inspection and field teams across several northern emirates. He has contributed to the development of fishing port infrastructure and the advancement of marine food security, and has actively participated in national initiatives related to seafood safety, veterinary services, and laboratory inspections. With extensive expertise in coastal ecosystem management, Dr. Al Jamali is recognized for his practical and hands-on approach to promoting environmental sustainability.
