The Head of the Marine Biology Department at the University of Khorfakkan. She is a member of the Sharjah Parents Council – Khorfakkan Branch and Chair of the Council’s Studies and Research Committee. Her expertise spans environmental engineering and applied biology, with research interests focusing on microplastic pollution and marine water quality. She has actively contributed to curriculum development aligned with labour market needs, as well as to academic accreditation files and the strategic planning of the college. Dr. Al Amiri also leads initiatives that strengthen ties between educational institutions and the community.
