His Excellency Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, has, since 2016, been at the helm of a transformative journey that has strengthened the emirate’s position on the global investment map. Guided by his strategic vision, he has championed innovative digital transformation initiatives, enhanced the efficiency and quality of real estate services, and expanded the Department’s reach by opening new branches across the emirate. Under his leadership, groundbreaking legislations have been introduced to boost market competitiveness—most notably, regulations on property ownership for non-UAE nationals and GCC citizens, real estate brokerage, and enabling investment funds to own and benefit from real estate.
