His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Salman Al Hammadi

BIO

Dr. Mohammed Salman Al Hammadi holds a PhD in Water and Environmental Sciences from the University of Arizona. He joined the College of Food and Agriculture at the United Arab Emirates University in 2006 as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean for Student Affairs. Between 2011 and 2022, he served as Director of the Research and Development Division at the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, before assuming various positions in legislation, communication, community service, and technical services. Since January 2023, he has been serving at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, first as Assistant Undersecretary for the Biodiversity and Aquatic Life Sector, and later for the Food Diversity Sector.Dr. Al Hammadi has chaired the technical committees of numerous conferences and led many strategic projects. He has also served as a consultant for projects with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and has participated in several committees, including the Emirates Award for Government Excellence. He has received several medals and awards in recognition of his outstanding contributions and exceptional performance.
