Since 2008, Maywand Jabarkhyl has led transformative initiatives in sustainable financial and humanitarian development. As CEO of the Fatima Bint Mohamed Bin Zayed Initiative (FBMI), he has improved the lives of over 2 million people and empowered 8,000+ women across the UAE, Afghanistan, Tanzania, India, and Pakistan through programs in healthcare, education, and economic empowerment. His leadership integrates urgent humanitarian aid with long-term resilience building, ensuring communities move from crisis to self-sufficiency. He also champions ethical investment strategies, aligning financial success with social responsibility and supporting women-led enterprises. In addition, he founded The Maywand Foundation, which delivers essential healthcare in underserved regions. With a Master’s from SOAS and an advisory role at the American University in the Emirates, Jabarkhyl exemplifies how strategic investment and humanitarian action together can drive sustainable, equitable development.
