Titus O. Awokuse (ah-woe-KOO-shay) is the vice provost and dean for International Studies and Programs at Michigan State University. He leads the university’s global engagement, advising senior leadership on international programs and partnerships. He oversees a diverse portfolio of area studies centers, student and scholar programs, and international service units. An internationally respected scholar, Awokuse is also the Red Cedar Distinguished Professor of Agricultural and Applied Economics. His research in international trade and food market liberalization policies enhance economic growth, improve food supply chains and promote food security in developing countries.
