His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi is the Director General of the Sharjah Digital Department (SDD), where he leads the emirate’s digital transformation journey with a clear vision to be a people-first digital innovator. Under his leadership, SDD advances the role of technology in enhancing quality of life and positioning Sharjah as a global hub for digital excellence. As a member of the UAE Council for Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain, Sheikh Saud actively contributes to realising the UAE’s National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a certification in digital transformation strategies from the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge.
