Sherif is a seasoned technology leader with over 30 years of experience, known for advancing AI, cloud adoption, and sustainability worldwide. As Chief Partnership Officer at G42 | AI, Sovereignty & Cybersecurity, he leads initiatives across more than half of the world’s countries, including Microsoft’s global partnership with G42 to drive responsible AI and cloud solutions in emerging nations. He is also Co-Founder and CEO of Fusion Minds AI, a platform using generative AI to accelerate sustainability and innovation. Previously, Sherif held senior roles at Microsoft, including Chief Sustainability Commercial Officer for CEE, MEA, Chief Business Strategy Officer, and Regional General Manager in Bahrain and Oman. Starting at Microsoft Egypt in 2000, his career spans technology consulting, cloud sales, strategy, and partnerships. He holds a bachelor’s in electrical engineering & computer science from Ain Shams University and an Executive MBA from London Business School. He has received multiple awards, including five Microsoft Circle of Excellence Platinum Awards and the Chairman Award from Bill Gates.
